The idea of synchronicity suggests that there are no such things as accidents in life. What we might attribute to chance or an "accident" is more likely to be the deepest unfolding of a person’s life. With the idea of synchronicity comes the belief in a higher power.
A Higher Power can be something/someone beyond or different from myself. God and Higher Power always involve the people with whom we rub shoulders and interact, so it is important to be discerning about whatever these people might be revealing about certain aspects of our life’s purpose. Is there an event that took place in your life that had significance to it that may be more than cause and effect? Do you believe in God? If so, how did you come to learn about God? Are you more comfortable thinking instead about a Higher Power?
